Personalise messages with variables

Personalise messages with variables1:24

Inserting contact details into messages so each one is personal. In a message step, type your greeting and click the variable button. Groups include Person, Company, Opportunities (latest, oldest or all deals), each pipeline, Sender and AI Message. Pick Person, then First Name, and it drops in as a chip; the preview shows where values go. If a contact lacks a value, that step fails for them instead of sending a gap. The menu works in LinkedIn, WhatsApp and email subjects.

A message that opens with Hi there gets ignored. The sequence canvas is the backbone of every sequence, even the ones inside agents. In a LinkedIn message step, type your greeting and click the variable button. The menu groups everything you can insert. Person holds the contact's own fields, and Company holds their company's. Opportunities pulls from their latest, oldest or all deals. Every pipeline gets its own group, like Cold outbound. Sender fills in details about whoever sends it, and AI Message holds variables an AI drafts from your prompt. Pick Person, then First Name, and it drops in as a chip. Add the company name the same way, and the preview shows where each value goes. Each contact gets their own values when it sends. If one is missing a value, that step fails for them instead of sending a gap, so keep those fields filled in. The same menu sits in WhatsApp steps, and in email, right down to the subject line, so one sequence feels personal on every channel. Before each send, Alex asks Claude to personalise a message. Claude adds three variables and finds one empty. Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant you connect to Vetta works on your real workspace, so start small, then give it a bigger job each week. In Vetta, check the chips, then the preview, then publish it yourself.
