Sequences
Create a sequence and its first step
Starting an outreach campaign. On Sequences, click New, choose Create sequence from Scratch and name it; it opens as a Draft so nothing sends until you publish. Click the plus under Sequence Start to see step types: Send Email, LinkedIn message, connection request, delete pending request and view profile, Send WhatsApp Message, Enrich, Qualify Lead, and User Actions like parallel paths, task, note, record, another campaign, workflow or update. The example builds a Send Email step with the sending mailbox.

Every outreach campaign in Vetta starts as a sequence. The sequence canvas is the backbone of every sequence, even the ones inside agents. Click New on Sequences, and you land here. Choose Create sequence from Scratch, and give it a name. It opens as a Draft, so nothing sends until you publish. Click the plus under Sequence Start. A new step appears, and the panel on the right lists every type. Send Email goes out from your connected mailbox. On LinkedIn, you can send a message, send a connection request that waits and splits on whether it's accepted, delete a pending request, or view a profile, which connection steps need first. Send WhatsApp Message uses your connected number. Enrich fills in missing details before the next step, and Qualify Lead stops anyone who doesn't fit your ICP. Under User Actions, you can split into parallel paths, create a task, a note or a record, send the contact to another campaign, trigger a workflow, or update a record. Here it's Send Email. Open the step: it can look up a missing work email first, or carry on when none is found. Pick the mailbox it sends from. A step with no text is incomplete, and a sequence with an incomplete step can't be published or have leads added, so write a subject and a message, then save, and the first step is in place. Before each campaign, Alex asks Claude for a first draft. Claude builds four steps and keeps it a draft. Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant you connect to Vetta works on your real workspace, so repeat this, then give it a bigger job each week. In Vetta, check the steps, add a sender, then publish it yourself.
