Welcome to Dalil AI! This guide walks you through everything you need to get up and running.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to app.usedalil.ai and sign up with your work email, or continue with Google or Microsoft
  2. Create your workspace (typically your company name, plus a logo)
  3. Complete your profile (name and picture)
  4. Connect your email when prompted, invite teammates if you want, and choose your plan

You're now in your first 30 days for $9, with full access and no feature gates. See Registration & plan selection for plan details.

Step 2: Follow the Getting Started guide

Inside the app, the Getting Started page gives you a checklist with a short audio walkthrough for each step:

  1. Integrate your accounts
  2. Core Integrations
  3. CRM Entities
  4. Pipelines
  5. Workflows
  6. Sequences
  7. AI Layer

There's also an onboarding video and a Book a Demo option if you'd like a guided tour.

Step 3: Connect Your Channels

Dalil works with your existing accounts. From Settings β†’ Core Integrations you can connect:

  • Email & calendar: Gmail / Google Workspace or Outlook / Microsoft 365 (guide)
  • WhatsApp: scan a QR code to link your number (guide)
  • LinkedIn: sync your LinkedIn conversations (guide)
  • Dalil AI on WhatsApp: manage your CRM by chatting with Dalil from your phone (guide)

For each channel you control what syncs: Everything, or Selective import (only conversations with contacts already in your CRM). Visibility settings control what teammates can see.

Step 4: Import Your Contacts

Option A: Spreadsheet import

  1. Open People (or any entity)
  2. Choose Import from the table options
  3. Upload your CSV/spreadsheet and map the columns

Option B: Chrome Extension (LinkedIn) Install the Dalil Chrome extension, browse any LinkedIn profile or company page, and sync it into your CRM; Dalil captures the person's and company's details from the page.

Option C: Let conversations build your CRM Once channels are connected, conversations flow into the Unified Inbox; click Add to people on any thread to create the record. Email sync can also auto-create contacts from the people you email and meet.

Step 5: Send Your First Sequence

  1. Go to Sequences (in the Automation section) and create a new sequence: from a template or from scratch
  2. Build your flow in the visual editor: an email step, a LinkedIn touch, conditions for branching
  3. Personalise with variables like {{currentPerson.name.firstName}}: or add AI steps (Qualify Lead, Generate AI Message) for per-contact personalisation
  4. Review settings (daily limits, sending window, reply behaviour), then Publish
  5. Add leads and launch them from the To Publish tab
