Dalil is now Vetta.
How a guide became a summit.
Every deal has a summit. For a while, we called ourselves a guide. This is the story of how Dalil became Vetta, and why the name had to change.
Chapter I · 2024
A guide
Dalil was born as an AI CRM with a conversational soul. Most CRMs wait for someone to type in what happened. Dalil listened instead: LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp ran straight into it, so it could read what buyers actually said and help its users understand every contact and every deal a little better.
The name came from where it started. Dalil was founded in the Middle East, with a different team setup, and in Arabic dalil (دليل) means guide. For a CRM that walked you through your conversations, it fit.

Chapter II · April 2025
A new rope team
In April 2025 Giuseppe Manzone, already part of Dalil, took over the company on his own from the previous setup. He had spent fourteen years in B2B sales, across Europe and the Middle East, watching the same pattern repeat at every company, and he spent the next couple of months working out what Dalil should become.
Then he brought in Sagnik Nath as CTO. Sagnik had done it before: he built Rooter.gg from the ground up to five million monthly users. Together they looked at the product and asked a bigger question.
Not how to build a better CRM. How to take a sales team all the way up.
“We couldn’t find a single tool that connected conversations, CRM and outreach without asking us to manage four others just to hold it together.”

Chapter III
Climbing in a whiteout
Ask any salesperson how they work and you will hear a list. One tool to find the leads. Another to enrich them. A sequencer for LinkedIn, a second one for email, WhatsApp on someone’s phone, and a CRM at the end of it all, always a step behind.
Each tool learns a piece of the buyer and passes on less than it knows. The reply on LinkedIn never reaches the email sequence, which keeps writing as if nothing happened. People become the glue: exporting lists, copying statuses, paying six bills for six logins.
Then AI arrived on top of the pile and made it worse in a new way. An assistant asked about a deal has to stitch its answer together from tools, databases and rules that never agreed with each other. That is where it starts to guess. Plenty of gear, and no idea where the route is.

Chapter IV
One rope
So we built the opposite. One AI infrastructure that does every job on the climb, on one record of the buyer. It finds the people showing intent, enriches them before the first word, writes to each of them in your voice across LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp, and keeps every conversation and every deal in a CRM that fills itself.
More and more of that work now happens inside an AI client, so we opened it to them too: more than 95 MCP tools that let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor work on your real records. The rules travel with the tools, so the model reads one source of truth instead of guessing across systems. Fewer tools, and as few hallucinations as possible.

Chapter V
A name for the summit
By then Dalil was no longer a guide through your conversations. It was the rope team that carries a lead from the first signal to the signed deal. The name had to follow.
Vetta is Italian for summit. Every deal has one, and the work of a sales team is the climb toward it. The guides did not go anywhere: you will find them leading the climb on every page of this site, in black and jade.
The new mark is that idea, drawn: four facets of one mountain for the four stops of every deal, under a jade snowcap, the colour of the rope that runs through all of them.
Dalil, now Vetta

Epilogue
Same rope, a higher summit
If you climbed with Dalil, thank you. You helped shape what Vetta is. We have written to every customer with the details of the move; if it did not reach you, write to us and we will send it again.
And if you are here for the first time, welcome. The route is open.
