Integrate your Email & calendar
Connect Gmail or Outlook to Dalil AI so every email and calendar event is automatically linked to the right CRM records.
Linking your email provider (Google Gmail or Microsoft Outlook) and calendar to Dalil AI enables automatic synchronisation of messages, appointments, and scheduling data with your CRM.
Once connected, Dalil AI imports conversations and calendar interactions and links them to the correct People and Company records.
This ensures your CRM reflects real communication activity without requiring manual data entry.
Email and calendar integration helps Dalil AI maintain an accurate sales database, improve collaboration across your team, and give AI models more context to generate insights.
How to connect Email and Calendar
You can start the integration process in two different ways.
From the Getting Started page
- Open the Getting Started page
- Click Sync next to Email / Calendar
From Core Integrations in Settings
- Go to the top-left menu
- Select Workspace Name → Account Settings → Core Integrations
- Click Add Email
- Select your provider:
- Google (Gmail or Google Workspace)
- Microsoft (Outlook or Office 365)
- Follow the authentication steps provided by Google or Microsoft
Once authentication is complete, Dalil AI will begin importing your emails and calendar events automatically.
What Dalil AI does after synchronisation
After your email and calendar are connected, Dalil AI automatically transforms communication data into CRM records.
Automatic contact creation
Dalil AI can create CRM records based on email addresses.
People records
The name is generated from the first part of the email address.
Example: john@acme.com → Person: John
Company records
The company is generated from the email domain.
Example: john@acme.com → Company: Acme
If the email comes from a personal provider such as gmail.com or outlook.com, Dalil AI creates a Person record without attaching a company.
This automation allows Dalil to build and maintain your CRM database automatically as conversations happen.

- Select Reconnect
- Re-authenticate with your provider
Once authentication is completed, email and calendar syncing will resume immediately.
