Finding your way around Vetta
How Vetta is laid out: the sidebar on the left, the top bar above every page, and where to read about each part.
Updated October 25, 2026 · 3 min read
Vetta has two pieces of navigation that stay with you on every page: the sidebar on the left and the top bar above the page. Once you know them, you know where everything lives.
A guided tour of Vetta's navigation. The sidebar runs in working order: workspace switcher, Notifications, then daily items (Duplicates, Pulse, Inbox, Calendar), Lead generation, CRM entities, Automation, Pipelines, and at the bottom Resources and Settings, with sections you can collapse. Above every page the top bar holds open tabs, search, credits and Ask Vetta. Use it when someone is new and cannot find where something lives.
Transcript
Alex opens Vetta on Monday morning, and two pieces of navigation stay with him on every page: the sidebar on the left and the top bar above the page. The sidebar runs in the order he works. At the top, the workspace switcher shows which workspace he's in, and Notifications shows what needs his attention. Then come the places he checks every day: Duplicates, Pulse, Inbox and Calendar. Lead generation holds his agents and the leads they find. CRM entities is where his people, companies, deals and tasks live. Automation holds his workflows and sequences, and Pipelines turns every process he runs into a board. At the bottom, Resources is help, and Settings is everything he configures, and he can collapse any section with the arrow next to its name. Above every page sit his open tabs, the search, his credits and Ask Vetta, so wherever he is, he knows where everything lives.
The sidebar
The sidebar runs in the order you work, from top to bottom. Each part has its own short guide:
- The workspace switcher: which workspace you are in
- Notifications: what needs your attention
- Duplicates, Pulse, Inbox and Calendar: the places you check every day
- Lead generation: your agents and the leads they find
- CRM entities: people, companies, deals and tasks
- Automation: workflows and sequences
- Pipelines: every process you run as a board
- Resources and Settings: help, and everything you configure
You can collapse any section with the arrow next to its name, so the sidebar shows only what you use.
The top bar
Above every page sit your open tabs, the search, your credits and Ask Vetta. See Tabs, search, credits and Ask Vetta.
Common questions
Where is my inbox?
In the first group of the sidebar, under Notifications, next to Duplicates, Pulse and Calendar: the places you check every day. See The sidebar and Duplicates, Pulse, Inbox and Calendar.
Where are the leads my agent found?
Under Lead generation, which holds your agents and the leads they find. See The sidebar and Lead generation.
How do I find a record quickly?
Press / from anywhere to search for a record by name. See The top bar and Tabs, search, credits and Ask Vetta.
Where are my settings?
At the bottom of the sidebar, under Resources, with everything you configure. See The sidebar and Resources and Settings.
What's the difference between CRM entities and Pipelines?
CRM entities are the records themselves (people, companies, deals and tasks), one table per entity. Pipelines run those same records through a process as a board, one board per process. See The sidebar, CRM entities and Pipelines.
Key outcome
What needs attention sits at the top of the sidebar, leads come in through Lead generation, relationships live in CRM entities and Pipelines, and Automation does the repetitive work. Each guide in this section explains one part in a couple of minutes.
