Managing LinkedIn conversations and engagement in Dalil
View, reply to, and track LinkedIn messages alongside email and WhatsApp in the Dalil Unified Inbox.
Overview
Dalil integrates LinkedIn as a primary communication channel within its Unified Inbox, enabling sales teams to manage conversations alongside their CRM without switching between platforms.
LinkedIn Messaging Features
LinkedIn conversations appear directly in the Unified Inbox with standard message threads including contact information, conversation history, and media. Users can reply directly from Dalil, keeping all communication linked to CRM records.
Profile and Social Context
When opening a LinkedIn conversation, Dalil displays a side panel preview containing headline, company, location, and basic profile details. The Social tab provides access to recent posts and engagement opportunities, allowing teams to combine direct messaging with broader social outreach.
Content Engagement
Users can view contact posts within the Social tab and perform engagement actions like liking or commenting. The platform offers AI comment suggestions to help craft thoughtful responses based on post context, enabling authentic engagement while maintaining efficiency.
Contact Synchronization
Dalil's Chrome extension syncs LinkedIn contacts into the CRM through several methods:
- Individual profiles: Click "Sync to Dalil" to create Person and Company records
- Company pages: Create Company records and link related contacts
- Bulk operations: Import multiple profiles from LinkedIn lists with error tracking
Strategic Value
By embedding LinkedIn activity into the CRM workflow, teams capture conversations automatically, track engagement patterns, and integrate outreach with sequences β preventing LinkedIn interactions from remaining isolated in external tools.
