Open a record view
Quickly dive into any record’s details.
You can open a Record View from anywhere in Dalil:
Click on a name in Table view
Select a card in Kanban view
Open a record via Notifications
Click linked records in Notes or Conversations
Access from related entities (e.g., a person linked to a company)
When opened, the Record View slides in from the side, giving you a multi-tabbed experience without losing your place in the workspace
Overview
See all the most important data at a glance.
The Overview tab displays the key fields associated with the record—such as name, role, company, contact details, tags, owner, and status. It adapts based on the record type (e.g., Person, Company, Opportunity) to show only what’s relevant.
You can:
Edit any field inline by clicking on it
Reorder or collapse sections for clarity
View change history to see who edited what, and when
See smart visual indicators (like “🔥 Hot lead” or “AI Signal active”)
Customize the layout for better readability
This section helps you understand the record’s identity and context at a glance, before moving into deeper activity or engagement tracking
Activity
A complete history of everything that happened.
The Activity tab organizes all interactions and updates related to the record in chronological order. This includes:
Synced email conversations (Gmail, Outlook)
WhatsApp or LinkedIn messages (if integrated)
AI-generated insights and scoring updates
Pipeline movements and status changes
Field edits with user and timestamp
Comments, mentions, and collaboration logs
Completed tasks and associated actions
You can use filters to isolate specific types of activities (e.g., only emails or only tasks), or search the timeline to locate key moments in the record’s history.
The Activity feed ensures everyone on your team has a shared, transparent view of what’s happened and what’s next.

A: Yes. You can click on most fields (e.g., job title, email, stage) to edit them inline. All changes are saved automatically and reflected in the Activity tab.
