Activity Timeline

Track all interactions and updates in a centralized chronological view for complete relationship history and context.

How it works

  • Activity types - Timeline captures emails (when synced), calendar events, field updates, note creation, task assignments, and all manual entries.

  • Viewing activities - Open any record and navigate to the Activity tab to see a reverse chronological timeline grouped by month.

  • Automatic logging - Field changes like "City updated to Naples" appear automatically with timestamps and user attribution.

  • Manual additions - Create Notes for meeting summaries or Tasks for follow-ups; these appear in the timeline immediately.

  • Entry details - Each activity shows who performed it, exact timestamp, clear description of the change, and links to related records.

  • Timeline persistence - All activities are permanently stored unless the parent record is deleted, creating an audit trail.

  • Current limitations - Automatic entries cannot be edited or deleted; use Notes for editable meeting logs and additional context.
