Sidebar and Navbar

Dalil’s interface is designed to help you work faster by organizing your entire workspace into two key navigation zones: the Sidebar and the Top Navbar. Together, they provide a seamless way to move between your records, tools, and settings - without getting lost.

Understand the layout

The Sidebar is your main entry point to all core data and actions. It includes:

  • People – View and manage individual contacts and their details

  • Companies – Access company records linked to people and opportunities

  • Opportunities – Track deals and pipeline stages

  • Notes – Store and reference important information

  • Inbox & Tasks – Stay on top of communication and to-dos

  • Pipelines – Visualize and manage your business processes

The Top Navbar provides global utilities and workspace-wide tools:

  • Search bar – Perform universal searches across your entire workspace

  • Notifications icon – See alerts related to your records, mentions, and changes

  • Workspace dropdown – Switch between workspaces or open account settings


How it helps

The layout is designed for efficiency:

  • The sidebar keeps your most-used tools in one place

  • Global search allows fast navigation across large datasets

  • The navbar gives you immediate awareness of activity and access to customization settings

Tips
  •  Star your most important records so they stay pinned to your sidebar for quick access

  •  Use multiple tabs if you’re working across different pipelines or teams

  •  The sidebar remembers the last section you used, so you can jump back into your flow

Note: While sidebar customization isn’t available yet, this feature is already on Dalil’s product roadmap.
