What is a pipeline

A pipeline helps you manage records through defined stages - ideal for sales, recruiting, onboarding, or any process with steps.
Pipelines use stages like New → Contacted → Negotiation → Closed to track progress over time.
Each record moves through stages as actions occur, helping teams stay aligned and forecast accurately.
Create a pipeline from scratch
To create your own pipeline:
Go to Pipelines
Click + New Pipeline
Select the entity to connect (e.g. Opportunities)
Define your stages, name them, and choose layout (Kanban or Table)
Adjust filters and visibility as needed
You can build pipelines for a variety of use cases beyond deals - like hiring, events, or customer support.
Templates
Start fast with prebuilt workflows for common processes.
