Table and Kanban views

Visualize and interact with your CRM data using flexible Table and Kanban views. Dalil offers two dynamic ways to visualize your records: Table View for structured data management, and Kanban View for visual workflows. These flexible layouts let you tailor how you interact with People, Companies, Opportunities, or any custom entity - helping you and your team stay organized, focused, and productive.

Switch seamlessly between data lists and workflow boards

Table View is ideal for working with large volumes of data in a familiar, spreadsheet-like format. Each row represents a record (e.g., a contact or a company), and columns reflect fields such as Job Title, Email, or Dalil Score. This layout makes it easy to review, sort, and edit data at scale.

Kanban View is perfect for process-driven work like deal tracking, hiring, or onboarding. Records appear as draggable cards grouped into columns by pipeline stage or field value (e.g., “New”, “In Progress”, “Closed”). You can easily update stages by dragging cards between columns.

You can toggle between views at any time using the layout selector in the top right corner of your screen.

How to create a new view

Customize your workspace to fit how you work.

From within any entity (People, Companies, Opportunities, etc.), click the view dropdown and select “+ Create new view.”

You’ll be prompted to choose a layout—either Table or Kanban. Then:

  • Add filters to narrow the records shown

  • Apply sorting logic to prioritize what appears first

  • Name your view (e.g., “High-scoring Leads” or “Deals in Q4”)

  • Choose whether it’s private, shared with the team, or set as the default

Views can be customized for different departments, use cases, or workflows. They allow each teammate to work with a focused dataset without disrupting others.

Working in table and Kanban view

Create, update, and organize your records directly from the view.

Add records

Click the “+” button in the top-right corner or within a pipeline column (in Kanban). You’ll be prompted to enter core fields like Name, Email, or Stage.

Update records

You can edit records inline in Table view—just click into a cell to make changes. In Kanban view, drag cards between columns to change their stage. All edits save automatically.

Hide/show fields

Click the ⚙️ “Fields” button in the top-right corner to choose which columns appear in your view. You can customize the view to focus only on the fields that matter most to your process.

Add custom fields

Create new fields directly from the view using the ⚙️ menu or “+ Add column.” Choose from field types like Text, Number, Date, Select, and more. These fields become part of the entity across your workspace.

Sort

Click on any column header to sort records alphabetically, numerically, or by date—such as by Dalil Score, Stage, or Last Interaction. Sorting helps you highlight top priorities instantly.

Filter

Apply filters to display only records that meet specific conditions. For example:

  • “Dalil Score above 70”

  • “Stage = Negotiation”

  • “Created by me”

  • “Industry = Tech”

Filters are automatically saved with the view, so you can switch between focused dashboards easily.

  • Switch to Kanban when working through workflows like deal stages

  • Name views clearly so your team knows what they’re for
