Workspace identity and exporting data

Managing your workspace identity is essential to give your team a consistent, professional environment. Dalil AI allows you to personalize your workspace with your logo, name, and domain, while also giving you control over data exports when you need to back up or migrate information.

Workspace identity

You can access workspace identity settings by navigating to Settings → General → Workspace Details.

From here, you can customize:

  • Logo
Upload your company logo (JPEG, PNG, or GIF, max 2MB). The logo will appear across your workspace and helps brand the environment for all users.

  • Name
Define the workspace name. This is usually your company name, but you can choose any identifier that makes sense for your team.

  • Domain
You can set or edit your workspace domain. Dalil AI provides a default subdomain (yourname.usedalil.ai), but you can customize it to reflect your company identity. This creates consistency for login and user access.

💡 Tip: Using a clear and professional domain name helps reinforce your company’s identity when inviting team members or external collaborators.

Exporting data

Dalil AI allows admins to export data from the workspace in CSV format, ensuring you maintain control over your information.

You can access this in Settings → General → Exports.

There are two main export options:

  1. Export content workspace in CSV
This exports entity data such as People, Companies, Opportunities, and Analytics. You can select the specific entity you want to export from the dropdown menu.

  2. Export members as CSV
This generates a list of all workspace members, including roles and permissions.

All exports follow a structured CSV format, making it easy to use the data for reporting, analysis, or migration to other tools.

⚠️ Note: Only workspace admins have permission to export data. This ensures security and prevents accidental leaks of sensitive information.

Deleting a workspace

If you ever need to close down an entire workspace, you can do so from Settings → General → Delete Workspace.

  • This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

  • All entities, records, and configurations will be erased.

  • Make sure to export your data before proceeding.

✅ With these features, you can keep your workspace professional and consistent while ensuring you always retain ownership and control of your data.
