Dalil Artificial Intelligence
Dalil hands: your AI assistant on chat
Dalil AI chat is the core of our philosophy: you should be able to talk to your CRM the same way you talk to a colleague. Instead of navigating menus or filling forms, you simply type (or speak) in natural language, and Dalil does the work for you.
You can use Dalil chat both inside the web application and on WhatsApp. The two experiences are the same: whether you are on your laptop or on your phone in the field, you can ask Dalil to update records, provide insights, or even suggest the next action.
Referring to records
Dalil recognizes entities such as People, Companies, Opportunities, Pipelines, and Tasks. To get the best accuracy, always be specific about the entity and the field you want.
If you say “Tell me about John”, Dalil will likely give you a brief overview.
If you say “Tell me the phone number of John Doe and give a quick summary of his current opportunities”, Dalil extracts the correct fields and connects the dots.
When your request involves relationships, always make them explicit:
“Create a task linked to John Doe to follow up tomorrow” ensures the task is attached to the right record.
This discipline is why Dalil chat achieves 95% accuracy in updating and retrieving records.
Personal and team-based queries
Dalil can also filter data by ownership.
Use “My” to focus on your own records.
Example: “Show me my top 5 deals by value.”
Use a colleague’s name to check what they are working on. You can request records created by them, assigned to them, or both.
Example: “Give me the latest 5 companies created by Giuseppe.”
Example: “Show me the tasks assigned to Giuseppe.”
This makes it easy for managers to track team activity or for colleagues to share workload visibility.
Asking for analysis
By default, Dalil gives direct answers or summaries. If you want a deeper response, include trigger keywords like analysis, detailed breakdown, insights, or recommendations.
“Show me all opportunities for Acme Inc.” → list of deals.
“Give me an analysis of opportunities for Acme Inc.” → deal list plus distribution, values, and risk signals.
“Provide a detailed breakdown of overdue tasks for John Doe.”
“What are your recommendations for moving forward with Acme Inc.?”
These keywords switch Dalil into AI-assistant mode, turning data into context and suggestions.
Simple vs. complex requests
Dalil understands both quick questions and multi-step instructions.
Simple ask: “Tell me the phone number of John Doe and give me a quick summary of his current situation.”
Complex ask: “Create a contact named Jane Smith, email jane@acme.com, phone +971-123456, role CFO, link her to Acme Inc., add a note ‘Budget approval pending,’ and create two tasks: prepare the deck and confirm the agenda.”
👉 For best results, separate details with commas or numbering when giving complex instructions.
Conversation context
Dalil chat remembers context within a conversation. This means you can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself:
“Show me opportunities for Acme Inc.”
“Which one has the highest value?”
The second question works because Dalil knows you’re still talking about Acme Inc.
If you don’t want context carried over, you can start fresh with a new conversation.
On the web app: click New Chat.
On WhatsApp: type /new-chat.
This ensures no reference is made to the previous conversation.
What Dalil can do today
Right now, Dalil chat supports the most common workflows:
Create and update People, Companies, Opportunities, Tasks, and Notes.
Update opportunities in pipelines by moving them between stages.
Provide insights on People, Companies, Opportunities, and their conversations.

What we’re building next
Dalil is still in its early stages, but we are adding new capabilities fast. Upcoming features include:
Creating and updating meetings directly via chat.
Suggesting replies directly inside the inbox or conversation view.
Generating graphs and analytics from natural language queries.
Setting up workflows through natural language (e.g., “Every time a deal is won, create a renewal task”).
Voice note input on WhatsApp.
Image analysis (e.g., turn a business card into a new Person record).
Chat integration with Slack and more channels.
Why this matters
Dalil chat is not just another input method. It’s the interface of the future for CRM:
It eliminates hours of admin.
It centralizes all updates in one place.
It empowers AI to provide proactive signals and recommendations.
The vision is simple: your reps wake up in the morning, open Dalil, see their tasks, ask for clarifications, and then spend the rest of their day selling.
