User Management

Managing users effectively is at the core of maintaining a secure, collaborative, and productive workspace. Dalil AI provides a flexible User Management system that allows administrators to control access, assign roles, and define visibility settings so that each team member only sees what is relevant to them.
Adding users
New users can easily be added to your workspace by clicking on Add Member.
When creating a user, you’ll define:
Full name and email address – the user’s primary identity.
User type (role) – controls the permissions they will have.
Visibility group – determines which records and data they can access.
This ensures that from the start, each user is configured with the right level of access.
User roles
Dalil AI supports multiple user roles, each with distinct permissions:
Super Admin: Full control over the workspace, including settings, billing, integrations, and user management.
Admin: Can manage users, pipelines, and workspace configurations, but with restrictions compared to Super Admins.
Member: Access to records, pipelines, and tasks based on their assigned visibility group.
Guest: A lightweight role with limited access, ideal for external collaborators or temporary contributors.
These roles help organizations balance security with usability, granting flexibility while keeping sensitive data protected.
Visibility groups
Dalil AI introduces Visibility Groups, a powerful way to manage access to data.
For example, sales teams in different regions (e.g., “UAE Team,” “Europe Team”) can be placed in distinct groups, ensuring they only see their relevant customers, opportunities, and conversations.
Visibility Groups also help when working with external consultants, allowing them access only to specific projects or pipelines.
This feature ensures sensitive information is never shared beyond the right audience.
Managing active users
From the Users dashboard, administrators can:
View all users and their current status (active or inactive).
Change user roles directly from the dropdown menu.
Move users across visibility groups as the team structure evolves.
This makes ongoing administration simple and transparent.
Example use cases
Startups: Keep early teams agile by assigning all as Admins, then scale with Members and Guests as the company grows.
SMEs with multiple teams: Use Visibility Groups to keep regional or functional teams focused on their own accounts and pipelines.
Consultants or freelancers: Add them as Guests with restricted access to avoid exposing sensitive information.
✅ With Dalil AI’s User Management system, your team gains the flexibility to collaborate effectively while ensuring the right level of security and control at every step.
