Setting Up Your Workspace

Record management in detailed view

When you click on a record in Dalil AI (a Person, Company, or Opportunity), you open its detailed view. This view is where all context, interactions, and insights come together, helping you manage the relationship in a single place.

The record page is structured into two main areas:

  • Left side (tabs) โ†’ Activity, Dalil AI, Conversations, Notes, Tasks, Calendar.

  • Right side (overview panel) โ†’ Core information about the record (fields, links, ownership, visibility).

Overview panel

The right panel gives you a quick snapshot of the record.

  • Default fields like Name, Job title, Company, Emails, Phones, City, Source, Created by, Last contact.

  • Related records such as linked Companies, Opportunities, or Owners.

  • Record-level sharing: you can decide whether the record is visible only to you, to a group, or to the whole workspace.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Example: A sales rep might own a Person record but share it with their manager when collaboration is needed.

Activity tab

The Activity timeline shows every interaction and update related to this record:

  • Emails received or sent.

  • Meetings or calendar events linked.

  • Field updates (e.g., Job Title changed, Contact type updated).

  • AI-detected actions.

This timeline creates a chronological log so you never lose track of what happened and when.

Dalil AI tab

Here you find AI signals and tips automatically generated by Dalil AI.

  • Signals summarize key behaviors, such as engagement level, reply speed, or deal blockers.

  • Tips provide next-best actions based on what the AI sees in the data.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Example: โ€œCustomer is actively engaged and has shown interest in moving forward with the proposal.โ€

Conversations tab

This is your unified inbox at record level.

  • See all conversations with this contact across Email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn.

  • Reply directly from the record without switching tools.

  • Keep full visibility of the communication history.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Example: You can view an email thread about a proposal, a WhatsApp chat confirming a meeting, and a LinkedIn DM โ€” all in one place.

Notes tab

Notes let you capture qualitative information that doesnโ€™t come from automated signals.

  • Write down meeting highlights.

  • Save context that might be important for follow-ups.

  • Notes remain attached to the record for easy retrieval.

Tasks tab

Tasks help you stay on top of action items linked to the record.

  • Assign tasks to yourself or team members.

  • Mark progress and completion.

  • Use it to ensure no step in your workflow is missed.

Calendar tab

This tab aggregates all events and meetings related to the record.

  • View past and upcoming meetings.

  • See participants, duration, and links.

  • Dalil AI automatically links meetings from your calendar to the correct record when possible.

Why the detailed view matters

The detailed view is the nerve center of relationship management in Dalil AI. Instead of scattered notes, isolated chats, and disconnected updates, you get:

  • A single source of truth for each Person, Company, or Opportunity.

  • AI-powered insights directly where you work.

  • The ability to act (reply, add tasks, update info) without leaving the record.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Example workflow: A rep checks the Activity timeline, sees a LinkedIn reply in Conversations, gets an AI signal about engagement, creates a follow-up task, and confirms a meeting in the Calendar โ€” all inside the same record.
