Task management

Tasks in Dalil AI help you stay on top of follow-ups, reminders, and actions without leaving your CRM. They are directly tied to records (People, Companies, Opportunities), so every task is always in the right context.
Where to find tasks
In the sidebar under Activities → Tasks (global view).
Inside each record’s detailed view, under the “Tasks” tab (record-level tasks).
Creating tasks
You can create tasks in three ways:
From the global Tasks page → add a task that isn’t tied to a record.
From a record detailed view → tasks created here are linked to that Person, Company, or Opportunity.
Via AI chat (WhatsApp or sidebar) → just type “Create a task to call John tomorrow at 10am” and Dalil will create it automatically.
Managing tasks
Assign tasks to yourself or team members (depending on your workspace permissions).
Add due dates and descriptions for clarity.
Complete tasks when finished — completed tasks remain in the history of the related record.
Use filters to see tasks by status, due date, or assignee.
👉 Example: A sales manager can filter all “Overdue tasks” across the team, while a rep only sees their own assigned tasks.
Tasks in workflows
Tasks aren’t just reminders — they integrate into your sales and customer workflows.
Follow up after a meeting.
Prepare a demo or proposal.
Check back with a lead after a quiet week.
Because tasks live inside records, you don’t lose context: you always know who the task is for and why it matters.
Why tasks matter
Without tasks, follow-ups often slip through the cracks. By keeping them inside Dalil AI:
You have a single source of truth for to-dos.
Managers gain visibility into execution.
AI can help prioritize which tasks matter most (based on scoring and signals).
👉 Example workflow: After a WhatsApp chat with a prospect, you create a task “Send proposal tomorrow.” It’s linked to the prospect’s record, visible in your Tasks list, and automatically part of your pipeline tracking.
